I’ve been a fan of Marilyn Monroe for over half of my life. Years ago I ran a very large Monroe fansite (msmonroe.net), but I have been away from the ‘online life and just cant figure out some of these new ‘fans’ of Marilyn.

I dont get the whole, lets make Marilyn a zombie or a skelton. It looks insane to me, why would we want a zombie Marilyn Monroe?

Also the tattooed Marilyn… not understanding that either. Now dont get me wrong, I have nothing against tattoos, I even have some, but why are we making Marilyn into a ‘bad ass.?

And just to clarify, it is not my intention to offend anyone… just needed to rant a litle.

PS. There are a lot of quotes going around that I am pretty sure were never said by Marilyn Monroe, I wish there were more informed Monroe fans out there.

Often times when I post a picture on my blog [blamemameblog.blogspot.com] I have restored or edited the photo to my liking. A good example is the new photo of Lana Turner I added to my layout.
